Great B&B with a friendly welcome
Newly refurbished B&B, beautifully done and spotlessly clean, with a drying shed in the back garden and right on the route of the West Highland Way. Paddy advised us that the Tailrace Inn was the place to go for an evening meal - it was a short walk away and the food was good. The breakfast was excellent, with various choices, would definitely stay again if we were in the area. Our room was at the front of the house and although the shower was en-suite, the toilet was across the hall, but not a problem.
Stayed September 2011, travelled as a couple Exellent friendly service, well equipped & spotlessly clean
Fantastic setting, immaculate rooms, can't say enough good things about this place! The owner " Paddy" could not be more helpful & always had time for a chat. The Tailrace Inn was just a short walk away & we will definitely be using the Forest view on our next visit to the area.

Place conveniently located on the West Highland Way. Very cosy and comfy, I got a really good rest there. Paddy, the owner, is cool and he is a pro, he makes sure that you have everything you need, but othervise he doesn´t disturb you. And he makes the best porridge in the world ;)
Stayed August 2011, travelled solo Great accommodation, friendly owner, recommended
This was our stop on the way to Skye and it was a great choice to stay there. Away from the main road, but close enough to walk to the shop or restaurant/pub. Rooms very tidy and well equipped. Great thing about it is that the B&B is almost next to trails and all maps and brochures of local attractions are supplied by the owner. I can recommend the place as the stay was very pleasant and I would not think twice about booking it again if we are anywhere close.
Stayed June 2011, travelled with family Exellent accommodation
We stayed at Forest View for two nights whilst doing the West Highland Way. The B & B has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and our room was immaculate and comfortable. The B & B is located in a quiet spot and on the path of the Way (very handy if you have to do taxi transfer and stay in Kinlochleven for two nights). Nearby pubs and local ammenties are only a 5 minute walk away. We enjoyed the cooked breakfast and the porridge is by far, the best we had whilst doing the Way. Paddy was very helpful and washed and dried some of our clothing garments. We find it hard/impossible to fault this establishment and would definetly stay again if we ever have the energy to do the way again.
