We're Sarah, Jack and wee Ellis.
After having lived and travelled in different places, we decided it was about time to achieve the long time dream of having a guesthouse. We decided on the Highlands as it encompasses the wilderness and freedom that we've only found in vast far far away provinces but close from home...
After a 6 weeks tour across the Western Highlands to find the ideal spot and a first stop in Fort William for a few months, we took over Forest View Guesthouse in Kinlochleven in February 2019 from our lovely neighbour Liz, just before the start of the season.
Opening with our little boy has been a rewarding and successful challenge and he's been the best concierge ever since.
Our first season has been very rich thanks to our guests from all over. We've met some unforgettable personalities, some we're lucky to host again this year.
Outdoor enthusiasts ourselves, we're thrilled to welcome fellow hikers and Highlands lovers. And we'll be happy to share our favourite walks and hikes in the area and beyond and if you dare the best wild swimming spots.
