Forest View is our family home and we hope you can respect it as such.  We pride ourselves with the attention to details and the love we put into this place and hope you’ll find a home away from home here at Forest View Guesthouse. We ask you to follow few rules, in respect of our family, our house and other guests.

We require you to read through the following. Proceeding with a reservation, you will be deemed to have fully read and understood our terms and conditions as detailed below.

General house rules

In general we simply ask you to respect our home and other guests.  

Smoking is not permitted in or near the house. 

We are a no shoes home. Please remove your footwear in our porch area or in the drying room. Feel free to bring your slippers !

In respect of other tired guests, we kindly ask you to keep the noise down from 10 pm.

Check-in time

Check-in is from 3 pm on your day of arrival. If the rooms are ready before 3pm, we will put a sign on the front door to inform you so feel free to check!

If you book directly with us, we’d appreciate if you can give us an approximate arrival time. Feel free to indicate your plans for the day (starting point if you're walking the WHW or where you're driving from as we might have tips for your day.

As a family guesthouse, we do not have a 24 hour reception, and if you intend to arrive past 7pm, we ask you to let us know in advance. Evening check ins (from 20:00) must be arranged beforehand.

Check-out time

On the day of departure, we kindly ask our guests to vacate their room by 10 am.

 

Children

Children of any age are welcome, please just let us know in advance. We can provide a cot if necessary. For older kid, we do not provide extra bed or camp bed, therefore you’ll need to book an appropriate size room. We can accommodate a special breakfast if needed.

 

Damage and breakage

Although we do understand that accident happens, we ask you to report any incident as soon as possible. In case of spillage on bedding or carpet, this might allow us to clean it quickly. In case of breakage, we reserve the right to ask for a full repayment of the broken item. You'll be informed via email and we'll use the card you've been paying with.

 

Pets

Sorry we do not accept pets.

Visitor

No visitor will be allowed in the common areas or your bedroom without our consent. Any unreported visitor found in the house will be entitled to pay a charge equivalent to the room night price.

Booking your stay

Booking 

Credit/debit card details are required to process the booking. Visa, Mastercard accepted.
To secure a reservation, a deposit equal to the total amount of the booking is required, taken within 7 days of when the booking is made.

Cancellation policy

The full amount of the first night is kept should a cancellation be made within 14 days of your arrival date.

Should you cancel 15 or more days before your check-in date, a full refund will be made. 

In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.
